Photography for Teens

April 10, 2:30-5 p.m.
Southeast Branch Library, Community Room

Come learn about the basic skills needed to become a photographer! Composition, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, photo editing, and more. Everyone will also get to participate in a portrait photo shoot and get to pick his or her favorite shot to be professionally printed. We will also be demonstrating how to clean up your photos in Photoshop.

If you are interested in photography but do not know where to start learning, this workshop is perfect for you. Whether you are an absolute beginner, or a seasoned photographer, you will enjoy learning and meeting teens that share your interests! This is also a great way to get a great new picture to use for your Facebook or MySpace page.

Teens with cameras are encouraged to bring them, but a digital camera will be provided for the photo shoot. This class for teens in grades 7 through 12. Registration is required. Please register here.
