Who do you write like?

Thanks to all the crazy authors on Twitter, I discovered this neat little tool. Go to I Write Like. . . and paste a few paragraphs of something you've written into the box. Click the Analyze button and voila! It tells you what writer you write like.

Granted, it is definitely not super accurate, but it's fun! Here's what I got for 4 different pieces of writing that I had Analyzed.

Try it and let us know what you got!

For my recent review of The Hollow, it says I write like Dan Brown. For two other pieces it said I write like H.P. Lovecraft, and Ray Bradbury, both of whom I've never heard about!

Lovecraft and Bradbury are two of my MOST favorite writers!!

Lovecraft was a horror writer in the 20's and 30's. He was a pretty strange guy and a lot of his writings were based on his actual dreams. A lot of what he writes revolves around an ancient race of aliens who came to Earth eons ago and have settled into the Earth, waiting. . .Creepy!

Ray Bradbury is someone you might like. He has a lot of good short stories, but is best known for Fahrenheit 451, The Illustrated Man, Something Wicked This Way Comes, The Halloween Tree, and even more. You should definitely read Fahrenheit 451 if you never have!
