Who do you write like?

Thanks to all the crazy authors on Twitter, I discovered this neat little tool. Go to I Write Like. . . and paste a few paragraphs of something you've written into the box. Click the Analyze button and voila! It tells you what writer you write like.

Granted, it is definitely not super accurate, but it's fun! Here's what I got for 4 different pieces of writing that I had Analyzed.

Try it and let us know what you got!

The Ninja Surfs... Inkpop!

Fellow Ninja Miranda from the Lake Arlington branch sent this website my way:

Inkpop is an online community of teen and young adult writers, teen lit lovers, and real publishing professionals.  Authors can submit their writing to Inkpop.  Many authors and their work are spotlighted in the community.  Readers can leave constructive comments to help the writers shape and edit their work.  Inkpop works with HarperCollins for publishing contracts.

Also, take a look at Inkpop's blog for writing tips from known and unknown authors of all ages!  Check it out if you are a writer or a reader!
