Video Book Trailers?

When I'm at the movies with my friends we like to play the "thumbs-up or thumbs-down" game during all those movie trailers. After each trailer plays, everyone will stick their hand out and give their opinion, using their thumb of course, of how the movie will probably turn out.

Now an awesome concept in the word of video has surfaced: the book trailer! It's a 60 - 90 second video introduction to a book, giving enticing little tidbits enough to make you wonder
what is that book about and where can I get it? Take a look at these award winning videos and judge for yourself! Also take a look at this year's Teen Video Book Award finalists from Kirkus Reviews (open October 27). You may not be able to keep yourself from giving these awesome books a thumbs up!

Book Trailers have been around for quite some time, but it wasn't until the YouTube/MySpace phenomenon gave them a greater viewing audience that people really took notice.
You can go to http://www.readersentertainment.tv and search trailers according to genre.
Here is one for The Indigo King that I think ROCKS!
