Rosemary Clement-Moore in Hurst this Saturday!

Don't forget that Rosemary Clement-Moore will be at the Barnes & Noble in Hurst (in the shopping center right next to Northeast Mall) this Saturday from 2 - 4 p.m. to sign copies of her new book, The Splendor Falls. Here's how Rosemary's site describes the book:

Sylvie Davis is a ballerina who can't dance. She's still reeling from her father's death, her mother has remarried, and Sylvie is shipped off to stay with relatives in the back of beyond in Alabama. She expects to be miserable, but when she sees echoes of the past repeating patterns of love, loss, and greed, she wonders what's true, and what is her imagination. Sylvie's lost nearly everything - is she starting to lose her mind as well?

Look for me at the signing - I will be there!

If you're a fan of local author Rosemary Clement-Moore, I'll bet you're itching to get your hands on her upcoming book The Splendor Falls. And if you're not, then you should be!! I demand it! Don't worry. Jenny promises she has ordered copies for the library.

On Saturday, September 12th, Rosemary is also having a book-signing party at the Barnes and Noble in Hurst. Click on the link to find a map and driving directions on the right-hand side of the page.

As usual, I will be there stalking one of my favorite authors. Come say hi to me if you see me there (long brown hair, glasses, usually in cargo shorts and flip flops).

We all know donuts are delicious. I mean, right? YA author Lara Zielin's book Donut Days comes out in August, but she's sending me an advanced copy to review just for all of you! To help promote her book (and the fact that donuts are oh-so-delicious), Lara made this video for the enjoyment of donut-connoisseurs everywhere. If you like it, let Lara know, because she is a super-fabulous lady.
